Wait a minute, mom! Calm down!!
This morning, my 2 yr and 7 month old grandson was woken up early by my daughter to go to UCLA, an hour+ long drive for a triathlon that my son in law had entered into. He and his 3 month old sister were being taken in their pajamas with the plan that once they really woke up, they would be refreshed and changed into their regular clothes. He was quite offended, and begged his mom, ” Wait a minute, wait, wait mom!! Calm down”, he wanted to go back to sleep. She bribed him with a treat, and he promptly said, “OK” and agreed to be lifted out of his bed. Of course, he held on to his 5 m&ms long enough and went blissfully back to sleep.
What a guy!
